Day 2 will take place in Lobos Club Restaurante in Vale do Lobo.
We’d really like if you could be there for 4.30pm to make the most of the open bar & music.
Two buses will be provided for guests:
Buses will depart the venue at 1:30 am to return guests to their original pick-up locations.
To note for the day of the wedding: no need to bring money for drinks (just for a taxi if you wanted to leave prior to the bus) as there isn’t a cash bar available at the venue. All drinks will be covered.
The wedding will be held on 11th of June 2026 at Os Agostos located in Portugal, just 20 minutes’ drive from Faro.
Summer wedding attire. Low heels, block heels, wedges or flats are recommended for the ladies – watch out for the Portuguese cobblestones. 😉
The nearest major airport is Faro (flights going directly from Knock, Kerry & Shannon) located just 20 minutes from the venue.
There will be taxis at the taxi rank at the airport. Uber & Bolt are also very good options.
Vale do Lobo is the main area we are recommending as it’s where we are basing ourselves (please see recommendations within Vale Do Lobo on the accommodation section). Other nearby options are;
Temperatures range from approx. 18 – 26 degrees. It can get cool in the evenings so bring a light jacket / cardigan.
Beaches, water sports, boat tours, tennis, golf, waterparks, shopping centres & Faro has museums and culture so there’s something for everybody.
The local language is Portuguese and the currency is Euro. Most places accept cards, but it’s handy to have some cash (particularly for taxis).
Yes! We’ll be organising a golf competition a few days before the wedding. Details will follow.
Just to name a few we have tried;
Pingo Doce Vale do Lobo & Lidl Quarteira.
Hairdressers – Salão Victor Picardo Vale do Lobo & Philippe Stabile – Hair & Beauty, Bem Te Quer.
Barbers – Man Cave Barbershop
Nails & beauty – a selection at the Buganvília Plaza (between Vale do Lobo & Quinta do Lago)
